Dyslexia is often missed while ADHD is diagnosed early, despite 25%-40% bidirectional comorbidity. Jack Goldstein, co-founder of JAR Farms was diagnosed with ADHD before kindergarten, but struggled with undiagnosed dyslexia until high school. How many others suffer from debilitating anxiety and sense of shame because they assume that they just aren’t as smart as their classmates, without knowing that they are actually dyslexic? Why is early diagnosis—so common with ADHD—elusive for dyslexia?
