Food Is Medicine (Part 1) – How Nutrition Affects Brain Health

Date: TBD
Doordash, UberEats, GrubHub, Instacart….Food choice has become a rushed smartphone activity, rather than a community building exercise focused on fresh local ingredients and an excuse to share with family, friends, and neighbors. Instant gratification often supersedes health and nutritional considerations when it comes to food choice with potentially devastating lifelong consequences. Kids Cooking for Life (KCL) is an organization focused on empowering kids and teens with nutritional knowledge and cooking skills for their lifelong health and well-being. As a community, how can we help each other make sure healthy eating is not only easy, but also fun?
